Informational and editorial purpose
Game Defense provides commentary, public-source research, educational material, and responsible-reporting guidance. Content is general information and may be revised as reporting develops.
Nothing on this site is legal advice, security advice tailored to a system, investment advice, or a promise that information is complete, current, or error-free. Do not rely on it as a substitute for a qualified professional or instructions from the owner of an affected system.
Independence
Game Defense is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive, Microsoft, Discord, or other organizations mentioned in editorial coverage unless expressly stated.
Game Defense is not an official reporting intermediary, law-enforcement body, publisher security team, legal representative, or rights-enforcement service.

Editorial content and corrections
Game Defense distinguishes verified reporting from claims, allegations, and inference where reasonably possible. Sources can change, links can break, and time-sensitive information can become outdated.
To request review of a material factual issue, email contact@gamedefense.org and identify the page, statement, and supporting source. A request does not guarantee a change or removal.
Intellectual property
The site’s original text, design, and project assets may be protected by applicable intellectual-property law. You may link to public pages. Other use remains subject to applicable law and rights identified with the material.
Third-party names, trademarks, and materials remain the property of their respective owners. Descriptive or editorial reference does not imply sponsorship or endorsement. See Copyright & Rights-Holder Requests.
External links
External links provide context, attribution, or access to official reporting channels. Game Defense does not control third-party sites and cannot guarantee their availability, accuracy, security, or privacy practices. A link is not necessarily an endorsement.
Game Defense does not intentionally link to leaked builds, stolen files, piracy sources, or unauthorized mirrors. If a destination changes in a way that creates a concern, contact us.
Project support
Game Defense is not presented as a registered charity and does not solicit charitable donations. Contributions are voluntary project-support payments. No charitable tax receipt is offered, and Game Defense does not represent a contribution as tax-deductible.
A contribution does not create equity, repayment rights, editorial control, privileged access, or a promise of financial return or project results. Options appear only when expressly enabled on the Support page.
Availability and limitation
The site is provided on an “as available” basis. Game Defense does not guarantee uninterrupted access, preservation of content, a particular outcome, or action by a third party.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Game Defense is not responsible for losses arising from reliance on site content, an external site, service interruption, or unauthorized misuse. Nothing here excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
